Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023: double your donation for education

We are delighted to announce that Amala has been selected to take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023. All donations made during the Christmas Challenge week - 28 November - 5 December - will be doubled!

This year’s festive fundraiser will be raising money for our programmes in Kenya and Jordan, to continue to deliver transformational education to displaced and host community youth.

Thanks to the generous support of the Waterloo Foundation and an individual donor, every pound donated during the seven days of the campaign (via our Big Give project page only) will be matched. 

We have an ambitious aim of £10,000, which will equate to £20,000 when doubled!

If you would like to help get us there, there are a few things you can do:

Before 28 November

• Save the date for midday (GMT) on 28 November, when the donate button will appear on our Big Give project page. Click here to add a reminder to your calendar.

• Sign up to our newsletter for updates about the campaign, materials to help share with your networks, and all the latest from the Amala community!

During the week, 28 November - 5 December

• Donate! From 12 noon (GMT) on 28 November until the same time on 5 December, every pound you give via the Big Give website will be doubled, and every donation will make a difference. 

• Share with your networks - keep an eye on our Big Give page for materials which you can use to share the campaign on social media. Not only will this help us reach our target, but will spread the word about the work that we do and grow our community of supporters.
