Sky School Co-Executive Directors on WISE 100 list

Sky School Co-Executive Directors Polly and Mia are proud to have made it onto the WISE (Women in Social Enterprise) 100 list 2018. WISE 100 is a list that recognises the most inspiring and influential women in social enterprise, impact investment and mission-driven business, and is produced annually by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest bank.

Candidates for this year’s WISE 100 were selected this year from hundreds of nominations submitted by the public, with the final list of 100 revealed at an event at Coutts on The Strand, central London, attended by over 200 women and their allies. Polly and Mia were specifically selected in the category ‘Women working with Refugees.’

Co-founder and Co-Executive Director of Sky School, Polly Akhurst said “We are honoured to have made it onto the WISE 100 list. It is vitally important to recognise the role of women in taking leadership in social start-ups, to create a network of women who are driving social change and to pave the ground and create role models for other female leaders.
